Terms of service
Last updated: 31 October 2026 · ApprovalFeed · [email protected]
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and ApprovalFeed (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected]. ApprovalFeed is a UK business.
2. The service
ApprovalFeed emails planning approvals and refusals filtered to the trades and London areas you choose. Content is based on public planning records (for London: the Planning London Datahub). Alerts show property address-level information only — not applicant or agent contact details. We do not claim the Datahub data is Open Government Licence licensed.
Figures and sample alerts on the website are illustrative examples from our analysis of public data; they are not a guarantee of future volume or matches for your selection.
3. Who may use the service
You must be aged 18 or over and use ApprovalFeed for business purposes (trades, consultants and related commercial use). By signing up you confirm this. The service is not for children.
4. Plans, trial and prices
- Starter — £29 per month: up to 2 trades and up to 5 London boroughs.
- Pro — £49 per month: all trades and 31 London boroughs plus the City of London (Bromley coming soon).
Both plans include a 14-day free trial. A card is required at signup via Stripe. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing for that trial. After the trial, the subscription renews monthly at the plan price until cancelled.
No VAT is charged while ApprovalFeed is not VAT-registered. If that changes, we will update prices and notify you as required. There are no hidden setup fees.
We will send a reminder email about three days before the trial ends (subject to working email delivery).
5. Billing and cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel anytime via the Stripe customer portal link on your receipt, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation is as easy as signup. After you cancel, access continues until the end of the paid period already paid for. See our Refunds & cancellation policy.
6. Your responsibilities
Provide a valid work email, keep login/billing details accurate, and use alerts lawfully (including any cold-outreach or data-protection rules that apply to you). Do not misuse the service or attempt to scrape or resell our feeds without written permission.
7. Accuracy and availability
Planning data comes from third-party public sources. The GLA and councils cannot warrant completeness or accuracy; neither can we. Alerts may be delayed, incomplete or miss records. The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We aim for daily weekday sends once the alert pipeline is live; maintenance or outages may occur.
8. Intellectual property
Website design, copy and software are ours or our licensors’. Public planning records remain subject to their source terms. You may use alerts for your own business lead-finding; you may not republish our compiled feeds as a competing product.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under UK law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities arising from chasing or not chasing a job, or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Consumer rights
Most customers use ApprovalFeed as a business. If you are a consumer under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may have a 14-day cancellation right for distance contracts; during a free trial you can cancel and pay nothing. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected. Digital Content and Markets Act 2024 subscription rules: we show trial and renewal prices clearly, and cancellation is available through the same channels as signup (portal or email).
11. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy notice.
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or on the site where practical. English law applies; courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections.
